Abstract

The invention relates to a fixture for material shielding effectiveness testing, in particular to a broadband continuous-conductor coaxial fixture (figure 1) which is designed and manufactured in a ladder transition mode. The broadband continuous-conductor coaxial fixture for material shielding effectiveness testing solves the technical problems that an existing material shielding effectiveness testing device is deficient in broadband and can not meet material electromagnetic pulse shielding effectiveness testing. To solve the technical problems, the fixture is made of brass, a teflon circular ring serves as the supporting medium of an inner conductor, the ladder transition mode is adopted in discontinuous positions, and the continuous-conductor circular coaxial fixture is manufactured. The broadband continuous-conductor coaxial fixture is matched with a vector network analyzer to be used for frequency domain shielding effectiveness testing of materials. The broadband continuous-conductor coaxial line fixture is matched with a pulse signal source, a broadband oscilloscope, an attenuator and other time domain testing systems for building material shielding effectiveness testing and can be used for electromagnetic pulse shielding effectiveness testing of the materials.
