[0008] The Aspergillus oryzae FS4 strain grows rapidly on potato culture medium. The colony spreads in 2 to 3 days and produces a large amount of mycelium. The colony becomes white and partly yellow. It turns green after 7 days. The extension becomes brown to dark brown, and the hyphae within the base produce water-soluble brown pigment. The conidia head is radial, and the top capsule of the conidiophore is nearly spherical or flask-shaped, with double small stalks overlying.
