Abstract

The invention discloses an antioxidant feed additive. The antioxidant feed additive is composed of, by weight parts, 5-25 parts of vitamin E, 1.5-2.5 parts of vitamin C, 15-40 parts of alpha-lipoic acid and 32.5-78.5 parts of corn starch. The invention also discloses application of the antioxidant feed additive. The antioxidant feed additive can be widely applied to feedstuff and is added into livestock feedstuff at a proportion of 0.2%, thereby improving the organic antioxidant capacity and reducing oxidative stress and oxidative damage during a livestock breeding process, and further guaranteeing viability and completeness of cells and facilitating organic health maintenance of animals and high yield.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a livestock and poultry feed additive, in particular to an antioxidant feed additive and its application. Background technique [0002] Under the normal physiological state of the animal body, oxygen free radicals are constantly produced and eliminated at the same time. Therefore, the oxygen free radicals in the animal body have been maintained at a low level and will not have adverse effects on the body. However, many exogenous or endogenous stimuli can break the balance of redox in the body and tend to oxidize, and the generation of oxygen free radicals will increase significantly, showing great damage to the body. Oxidative stress often leads to decreased production performance of livestock and poultry, decreased quality of animal products, and even animal diseases. The use of antioxidants in animal feeding to maintain free radical homeostasis dynamics is considered an important approach to maintain good production and repr...
