Problems solved by technology

my country's research and development of low-smoke and low-halogen, especially low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant wire and cable materials is relatively late. At present, my country's research on low-smoke, halogen-free, and flame-retardant wire and cable materials is still in the early stages, and some manufacturers have produced low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant wire and cable materials. Halogen-free flame retardant wire and cable materials, but most of them have poor mechanical properties and weather resistance

Abstract

The invention relates to a halogen-free flame-retardant wire. A wire insulation material is irradiated by ultraviolet light so as to realize crosslinking of a wire insulation layer. The wire insulation material comprises components in parts by mass as follows: 40-70 parts of PE, 40-70 parts of EVA, 12-20 parts of SBS (styrene butadiene styrene), 3-7 parts of a maleic anhydride grafted ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 60-80 parts of magnesium hydroxide, 60-80 parts of aluminum hydroxide and 20-35 parts of zinc borate. The halogen-free flame-retardant wire which is excellent in mechanical property and weather resistance is obtained through selection of all the components in the halogen-free flame-retardant wire insulation material.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a halogen-free flame-retardant wire, in particular to a halogen-free flame-retardant wire insulating material which is cross-linked by ultraviolet light irradiation. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of the economy, wires and cables are widely used in various fields. With the frequent occurrence of electrical fire accidents, the flame retardant problem of wires and cables has gradually attracted the attention of countries all over the world. In the 1970s, the flame retardant properties of wires and cables began to be studied internationally, and wires and cables with flame retardant properties were produced. However, when a halogen-containing flame-retardant cable based on PVC is burned, it releases a large amount of smoke and toxic and corrosive gases, which is a risk factor in a fire, which hinders people's safe evacuation and fire-fighting work during a fire, causing life and property damage. to seri...
