The thermosetting resin comprises solutions of urea-formaldehyde resin, melamine-formaldehyde resin, urea-melamine-formaldehyde resin, melamine-phenol-formaldehyde resin, thermoplastic phenolic resin, modified thermoplastic phenolic resin, thermosetting phenolic resin, modified thermosetting phenolic resin and the like. The resin solutions are dried into solid resin by virtue of a microwave vacuum drying device, wherein the drying temperature is 10-150 DEG C, and the vacuum degree is -0.01 to -0.1MPa. The method is efficient, energy-saving and low-cost, and the production technical process is easy to control. The method is a good process method for producing solid thermosetting resin with high drying difficulty.
