Abstract

The mineral separation method comprises the steps of primary separation, grinding, granularity screening, fine separation and dehydration, wherein granular mineral aggregates to be separated and water are fed into an inner cavity of a transversely-arranged primary separation cylinder of a primary separator during primary separation; the primary separation cylinder is driven to rotate around the self central axis; meanwhile, a first magnetic field is applied to the inner cavity of the primary separation cylinder in the circumferential direction of the primary separation cylinder, so that primarily-separated granules in pulp reach a material falling area above the inner cavity of the primary separation cylinder and then fall down to a material receiving tank of the primary separator; the primarily-separated granules which are primarily separated are subjected to grinding and fine sorting, and then are fed into an inner cavity of a transversely-arranged fine separation cylinder of a fine separator for fine separation.
