The method includes determination of physical parameters of a graphite electrode, simulation of the temperature field of the ultrahigh-power graphite electrode in use, simulation of the stress field of the ultrahigh-power graphite electrode in use, calculation of the strain and deformation of the ultrahigh-power graphite electrode in use and visualized output of simulation system software. The method is used for calculating the temperature field distributions of the graphite electrode body and the connector under the physical conditions, use conditions and boundary conditions of carbon material on the basis of the conditions, the stress field distribution of the graphite electrode caused by the temperature field is simulated according to temperature field distribution data, so that the strain displacements of the graphite electrode body and the connector are worked out, finally, a machining fit parameter range, which can meet the strain displacements, of the graphite electrode body and the connector is worked out, and an optimal fit parameter is chosen.
