The invention discloses a molasses alcohol waste liquid modified activated clay granular adsorbent. The adsorbent is prepared from activated clay, a molasses alcohol waste liquid and aluminum trichloride, wherein the activated clay is used as a basic raw material, the molasses alcohol waste liquid is used as a pore forming agent, and aluminum trichloride is used as a binder. As the molasses alcohol waste liquid contains a lot of organic substances, the organic matters combust and produce carbon dioxide during high temperature calcination of the activated clay and the molasses alcohol waste liquid, so the activated clay forms a porous structure. The invention also provides a corresponding preparation method and eventually determines optimal process thereof. According to the invention, instead of introduction of conventional organic pore forming agents, a sugar-making by-product--the molasses alcohol waste liquid is used as a pore-enlarging agent, so the purposes of changing the waste into the valuable, saving resources and reducing discharging of polluting waste liquid are achieved; the prepared molasses alcohol waste liquid modified activated clay granular adsorbent has stable and high-efficiency fluorinion adsorbing capability and can be widely applied to water treatment; thus, waste control by waste is realized, and good cyclic economic benefits are obtained.
