Abstract

A method of identifying a magnesium salt in a compound preparation is provided. The method is characterized in that the compound preparation comprises the magnesium salt and at least comprises gluconic acid radicals. The method includes measuring 100 mL of a target sample solution, evaporating at a water bath temperature of which is 70-80 DEG C until the volume of the evaporated solution is about 10 mL, adding about 0.2 g of ammonium chloride, neutralizing with an ammonium carbonate reagent, and adding a sodium hydrogen phosphate test solution so that a white crystalline precipitate is produced. If the precipitate is insoluble in an ammonia test liquid, magnesium ions are proved to exist. Through verification, the method is good in specificity and durability, simple and convenient in operation and obvious in testing phenomena, and is an effective magnesium salt identifying method.
