The LED driving power supply comprises an input protection circuit, a buck circuit, a rectification filter circuit and a voltage-division current-limiting resistor which are electrically connected, wherein the voltage-division current-limiting resistor is used for current-limiting protection on an LED so that the LED works under the driving of stable voltage and current, a filter capacitor in the rectification filter circuit is a tantalum electrolytic capacitor, and in the same conditions of voltage resistance and capacitance, the filter capacitor is relatively small in size and stable in performance, favorable electrical performance still can be maintained after the filter capacitor works for a long time, and the service lifetime of the LED driving power supply can be prolonged; a chip resistor is arranged in the filter capacitor and is used for discharging, and when the power supply is cut off, the chip resistor can discharge electricity stored in a capacitor core within a very short time, the voltage of the capacitor core is reduced to zero, so that a bleeder resistor is not needed to be connected in parallel to the two ends of the filter capacitor; and a shell of the filter capacitor adopts an epoxy resin shell formed by encapsulating epoxy resin outside a capacitor component, and the LED driving power supply has an effect or electric leakage prevention and is more safer.
