Abstract

The invention discloses an annular slit antenna for generating OAM (orbital angular momentum) waves. The annular slit antenna comprises a dielectric substrate, a rectangular metal patch array and an annular slit metal plate; the annular slit metal plate is arranged at the front surface of the dielectric substrate; rectangular metal patches are evenly arrayed on positions on the back surface of the dielectric substrate which are corresponding to the annular slits of the annular slit metal plate; and the length of the metal patches is larger than the width of the annular slits. According to one preferred embodiment of the invention, the annular slit antenna further comprises a feed circuit and a metal reflection plate; the feed circuit comprises a phase shifter and a power divider; the power divider is used for dividing one path of input signals into N paths of equal-amplitude and equal-phase-difference output signals; electricity is fed to the annular slit antenna through the rectangular metal patch array; and the metal reflection plate is located below the feed circuit so as to enhance the forward-direction radiation of the antenna. The annular slit antenna provided by the invention can generate OAM waves in a specific mode. With the annular slit antenna adopted, a low-cost and miniaturized solution is provided for the generation of OAM waves.
