Abstract

The invention provides a method and an apparatus for designing acetabulum back-wall back-column bone fracture internally fixing system. The method comprises the following steps: choosing a proper amount of pelvis CT data for three-dimensional modeling; measuring the arc length of each acetabulum from its highest point to the lowest point; using the pelvis with an arc length close to the average arc length of the acetabulums as a standard pelvis; converting the standard pelvis into a point cloud file; conducting triangle gridding to the point cloud file; and using the reverse engineering technique to simulate surface anatomical morphology of the acetabulum back-wall back-column; and according to the characteristics of an acetabulum back-wall back-column bone fracture in clinics, designing two steel plates of different shapes with one suitable for high-level acetabulum back-wall back-column bone fractures and the other for non-high-level acetabulum back-wall back-column bone fractures. The main parts of the steel plates are big in size and have a plurality of screw holes so that a patient could choose the suitable screw holes for bone fracture fixation after a surgery.
