Abstract

A wireless power supply device and method based on a lamb wave are provided. The device comprises a signal generator, a voltage amplifier, an excitation transducer, a metal sheet member, a receiving transducer, an energy acquisition circuit and an energy storage element, and has advantages that the Lamb wave in the metal sheet member is used as an energy carrier so as to achieve wireless transmission of energy and to power a structure health monitoring sensor on the metal sheet member, thereby reducing the wiring and maintenance cost of a traditional sensor system and improving system stability. A piezoelectric ceramic transducer is used as a main component, high in conversion efficiency, small in size, and low in cost. Because of an active excitation way, the Lamb wave frequency can be close to the resonant frequency of the excitation and reception transducers, thereby greatly improving the efficiency of the traditional method. The lamb wave belonging to the ultrasonic waveguide is as the energy carrier, so the energy is low in attenuation and high in transmission efficiency. Since the transmission is in a continuous mode, it is not necessary to consider the frequency dispersion effect of the Lamb wave.
