Abstract

The invention relates to application of phloretin in preparation of a medicine for treating chicken necrotic enteritis. Through a clostridium perfringens sliding motion inhibition test, a biofilm formation inhibition test and a chicken necrotic enteritis model test, it is verified that phloretin has a protective effect on chicken necrotic enteritis caused by clostridium perfringens infection. In view of abuse of traditional antibiotics and continuous strengthening of bacterial resistance, phloretin has characteristics of high cure rate and no drug resistance or drug residue. Thus, phloretin can be used in treating chicken necrotic enteritis to increase selectivity of drug use and is of great significance for development of new drugs.
