Abstract

The invention provides an automatic rainwater collection and on-site utilization system of an urban highway. The automatic rainwater collection and on-site utilization system comprises a rainwater collection system, an automatic control system and an automatic irrigation system, wherein the rainwater collection system comprises a rainwater grate, a settling pool, a rainwater collection pipeline and a water collection tank; the rainwater grate is in a poriform water through and trash holding structure; a rainwater outlet is formed on one side of the settling pool; the settling pool is connected with a siphon; the rainwater collection pipeline is connected with the settling pool and the water collection tank; the automatic control system comprises a humidity sensor, a water level sensor and a control device; the automatic irrigation system comprises a water pump, a suction pipe and a drip irrigation pipe; and the water pump receives a signal from the control device to irrigate green belt plants via the drip irrigation pipe. The system has the benefits that the interception of many pollutants in rainwater can be achieved by the poriform rainwater grate and the settling pool; a rainwater treatment procedure is reduced; the construction cost of the system is lowered; precision irrigation can be achieved by drip irrigation; the water is greatly saved; and the waste of manpower, material and financial resources of the traditional irrigation is avoided.
