Abstract

The invention discloses a method for doubling eggplant haploid plants. The method includes operation of branch clipping, colchicine solution soaking, doubling treatment, branch pruning, branch cutting, post-cutting heat preservation and moisture preservation management and the like. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that stored haploid plants can be successfully doubled, doubled plants which survive after cutting can be quickly in reproductive growth stages, flower and bear fruits, and selfed seeds can be obtained; cutting and doubling are combined with each other, and accordingly the eggplant haploid plants can be effectively stored, studied and utilized; the survival rates of branches can reach 10% at least in seriously polluted seasons in summers, and the doubling rates of survived plants can range from 50% to 100%.
