Abstract

The invention provides an RFID data and dynamic vehicle source based route guidance method. The method includes steps of 1) constructing an urban road traffic network; 2) matching RFID base stations with road segment nodes; extracting road segment node based travelling ODs based on RFID record data; 3) distributing the travelling ODs to different road segments by adopting an MSA algorithm and obtaining road segment flows and external driving time; 4) calculating total external driving time of each RFID base station and taking N RFID base stations having the longest total external driving time as major vehicle sources causing jamming; 5) when performing route guidance, as for travel from the major vehicle sources causing jamming and travel from other vehicle sources, using different road resistance functions for calculating resistance of different road segments respectively and distributing all travels of the time period to different road segments based on MSA algorithm. According to the invention, route guidance can be performed for partial vehicles in a targeted manner and traffic jamming can be relieved.
