Abstract

The process includes steps of collecting straw which is not aged and has the water content higher than 50%, hermetically storing the straw under low-temperature conditions for 3 months, then taking out the straw and smashing the straw until corn straw particles with the particle sizes of 2.5 cm are obtained; soaking the corn straw particles by 1.5% NaOH solution, then placing the corn straw particles in constant-temperature water bath and carrying out alkali extractive reaction; washing products obtained after the reaction is completely carried out by pure water until the pH (potential of hydrogen) of the products is neutral, drying the products, placing the products in reaction systems with the initial substrate concentration of 1 g / 100 mL, synchronously saccharifying and fermenting the products at the speed of 80 rmp per minute for 96 h, then centrifuging products to obtain hydrolysate and carrying out detoxification treatment on the hydrolysate. The process has the advantages that the waste straw of crops is utilized and fermented to produce alcohol, and accordingly fuel ethanol can be obtained; social benefits can be increased, and the problem of environmental pollution due to straw burning can be solved; process parameters are optimized, and accordingly the yield of the ethanol can be greatly increased.
