Abstract

The invention discloses a starch hydrolysate-melamine-formaldehyde copolymerized resin wood adhesive and a preparation method thereof. The starch hydrolysate-melamine-formaldehyde copolymerized resinwood adhesive (AMF) is mainly prepared from starch hydrolysate, melamine and formaldehyde as raw materials together with a cross-linking agent through a copolymerization reaction. By adopting the preparation method, the starch hydrolysate of a high content is put into a copolymerization system, then the copolymerization reaction of the starch hydrolysate, the melamine and the formaldehyde is achieved, and furthermore the wood adhesive AMF with excellent properties is prepared. The preparation process is simple, and compared with a conventional MF (melamine-formaldehyde) resin, the obtained wood adhesive product is relatively low in cost, relatively long in storage cycle, relatively stable in resin property and good in compatibility of the color of the adhesive with the color of wood. The adhesive is capable of replacing MF resin wood adhesives which are widely used at present and can be applied to related production processes of artificial boards, and plywood produced with the adhesivecan meet the standards of national type 'I' plywood.
