Abstract

The invention discloses a station-space direction-of-arrival estimation system for a substation discharge source, which includes four omnidirectional antennas located on the same plane. Direction of arrival estimation includes the following steps: 1) using interpolation cross-correlation method to estimate the time difference between signals received by each antenna; 2) using direction of arrival estimation method to calculate the azimuth and elevation angle of the discharge source. The antenna array in the present invention has the advantages of small size and is suitable for narrow inspection channels of substations. Through the intersection of estimation results of multiple test points, the coordinates of the discharge source can be accurately calculated, and then the location of the discharge device can be determined.
