Abstract

The invention discloses application of anethole in preparing a drug for treating neuropathic pain. Experiment results of the invention show that when being used within a safe dose range, the anetholewith the dose being 500mg/kg can remarkably relieve pain hypersensitivity and hyperpathia induced by a model of chronic constriction injury of sciatic nerves, improves histopathological changes of thesciatic nerves and regulates protein expression of inflammatory cytokines, and prove that the anethole has the effects of relieving the neuropathic pain caused by chronic constriction injury and promoting neural functional recovery.
