Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of image processing, and discloses a left ventricle segmentation method for medical imaging. The method comprises the steps of constructing a left ventricle standardtemplate library by using a heart image, then constructing particle swarms and a sparse constraint objective function, obtaining the deviation between a candidate region corresponding to each particle and the left ventricle standard template library through solving the objective function, obtaining a particle with the minimum deviation in multiple iterative particle swarms according to the deviation between the candidate region of each particle in the particle swarms and the left ventricle standard template library so as to obtain the particle with the highest similarity with the left ventricle standard template library, and updating the state of each particle; and finding out the optimal particle through multiple iterations, then determining the boundary of the left ventricle contour according to the optimal particle so as to obtain a left ventricle region to be segmented of the heart and realize left ventricle segmentation of the heart image. The method can deal with a problem of segmentation for images with fuzzy boundaries, completes left ventricle segmentation for an MR image and can be applied to quantitative analysis of cardiovascular diseases.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of image processing, in particular to a medical imaging left ventricle segmentation method, system and possible computer storage medium. Background technique [0002] Medical imaging of the heart, such as cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRI), is an important means of medically assisting cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment. The left ventricle plays an important role in the cardiovascular circulatory system. By dividing the left ventricle and quantifying information such as the volume and blood output of the left ventricle, cardiovascular diseases can be effectively diagnosed. [0003] For the left ventricle segmentation task in cardiac medical imaging, the boundary between the endocardium and adventitia of the left ventricle is difficult to distinguish from the background, making the segmentation of the left ventricle a difficult point in medical image segmentation. In the ex...
