Abstract

The invention discloses a compact vertical separating device based on a novel separated outer barrel improvement method. The device comprises a separating outer barrel and a cyclone coalescer. A filter screen and a gas discharge pipe are arranged at the upper end of the separating outer barrel and a crude oil discharge pipe and a drain outlet are formed in the lower end of the separating outer barrel. A liquid inlet pipe is arranged on one side and a drain pipe is arranged on the other side. The cyclone coalescer comprises a tangential inlet pipe, a lower guide separating chamber, a central outer tube, a central tube, an upper guide separating cavity and an oil collecting funnel. The tangential inlet pipe is connected to the liquid inlet pipe, and the oil collecting funnel is connected tothe crude oil discharge pipe through the central tube. During work, multiphase incoming liquids enter the cyclone coalescer first, and after centrifugal separation and collision coalescence, gas filtered through the filter screen enters the gas discharge pipe; separated oil and a small amount of gas are centralized in the oil collecting funnel at the upper end of the cyclone coalescer and are discharged from the crude oil discharge pipe; and water of an oil-water mixture after gravity settling in the separating outer barrel is discharged through the drain pipe and solid impurities are discharged through the drain outlet.
