Problems solved by technology

However, whether blueberry leaves have a protective effect on LPS / D-GalN-induced liver injury has not been reported. This application uses LPS / D-GalN-induced acute liver injury in mice as a model to study the prevention of blueberry leaf total flavonoids on acute liver injury protection and try to explore its mechanism

[0024] 1 Materials and Instruments

[0025] 1.1 Experimental animals

[0026] 48 SPF-grade Kunming mice, male, weighing 18-22 g, were purchased from the Experimental Animal Research Center of Southern Medical University, license number SCKX (Guangdong) 2011-0015. The experimental animals were free to ingest deionized water and standard food every day, and were adaptively fed for one week before the start of the experiment.

Abstract

The invention discloses novel application of blueberry general flavone in the preparation of drugs for preventing and treating liver damage and especially acute liver damage. The inventor of the invention uses mice with LPS / D-GalN induced acute liver damage as the models to research the prevention and protection effects of the blueberry general flavone on the acute liver damage and discovers thatthe blueberry general flavone can evidently increase the 24-hour survival rate of the mice and reduce hepatic cell damage degree, and the serum ALT and AST level of the mice which use the blueberry general flavone is evidently lower than that of the mice which does not use the blueberry general flavone. In addition, the TNF-alpah, IL-1beta and IL-6 content in the hepatic tissue of the models is evidently increased as compared with that of a normal control, the increasing can be effectively inhibited by the blueberry general flavone, and accordingly liver inflammatory reaction inhibition playsan important role in the liver cell protecting activity of the blueberry general flavone.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of medicines, and in particular relates to a new application of total flavonoids from blueberry leaves. Background technique [0002] Flavonoids (flavonoids) are the main active ingredients in blueberry leaves. They are a class of compounds that exist in nature and have a 2-phenylchromone (structure. There is a ketone carbonyl in their molecules, and the oxygen in the first position Atoms are basic and can form salts with strong acids, and their hydroxyl derivatives are often yellow, so they are also called flavonoids or flavonoids. Flavonoids are usually combined with sugars in plants to form glycosides, and a small part of them are free ) form. Most plants contain flavonoids, which play an important role in plant growth, development, flowering, fruiting, antibacterial and disease prevention. [0003] Flavonoids are plant secondary metabolites. Flavonoids are a class of yellow pigments derived from flavone (2-pheny...
