Abstract

There is provided a polarizing plate in which a protection film is stuck to a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer through an adhesive. The adhesive is formed by a photocurable adhesive composition containing, based on 100 weight parts of a photocationic curable component (A), 1 to 10 weight parts of a photocationic polymerization initiator (B), and the cured product of the photocurable adhesive composition shows a storage elastic modulus of 1000 MPa or more at 80 DEG C. The photocationic curable component (A) is preparedto contain the following (A1) and (A2); (A1) 50 to 95 wt.% of an alicyclic epoxy compound having an epoxy group bonding to an alicyclic ring and (A2) 5 to 50 wt.% of a diglycidyl compound which has achlorine content of 1 wt.% or less and is represented by the following formula (I) (where Z is an alkylene group, or the like).
