Problems solved by technology

As explained above, this conflict of objectives cannot be eliminated by the known elastic body adjusting feet
A further problem is the requirement that every precision balance be leveled very accurately before it is put into operation so that its weighing means are oriented precisely, usually precisely horizontally, in their predetermined nominal position

Embodiment Construction

[0028] figure 1 The bottom plate 110 of the laboratory device 100 , which is not shown in detail otherwise, is shown in perspective and has three adjusting feet 200 , which are realized according to the invention in the form of a redesigned industrial vibration damper. For a more detailed description of the adjustment foot 200 refer to Figures 2 to 5 .

[0029] figure 2 and 3 The adjusting foot 200 is shown in perspective or in a partially concealed sectional view, the adjusting foot is screwed with the external thread 211 of its hollow cylinder 210 into the internal thread 111 of the carrier plate 112 which is rigidly connected to the base plate 110 . The "internal structure" of the hollow cylinder 210 shall additionally be based on Figure 4 and 5 describe.

[0030] A piston rod 221 protrudes downwards from hollow cylinder 210 , at the distal end of which a frustoconically cast head 222 is arranged. The piston rod 221 can move axially relative to the hollow cylinder...

Abstract

The invention relates to the use of a hydraulic shock absorber with a fluid-filled hollow cylinder (210) in which a piston (220) which can move axially between an advanced position supported by a spring prestress and a retracted position which can be assumed counter to the spring prestress, which piston (220) separates a front axial flow space (214) and a rear axial flow space (215) from one another in the hollow cylinder (210), said front axial flow space (214) and rear axial flow space (215) being connected to one another in a fluid-exchanging fashion by means of at least one throttle opening (223) in the piston (220), wherein the piston (220) is rigidly connected to a piston rod (221) which penetrates the front fluid space (214), and in its retracted position, in which the volume of therear axial fluid space (215) is minimised and the volume of the front axial fluid space (214) is maximised, said piston (220) bears against a fixed stop (218). According to the invention, such a shock absorber is used as a positioning foot (200) which is arranged in a vertically adjustable fashion on the device body of a laboratory device (100), wherein the spring prestress is dimensioned such that the weight of the device body which exerts a load when the laboratory device (100) is installed on the positioning foot (200) is sufficient to move the piston (220) into its retracted position in adamped fashion.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a laboratory device, in particular a measuring device, such as a weighing device, which has a device body which can be placed on a base surface on a plurality of adjusting feet arranged thereon. Background technique [0002] A beam splitter is known from EP 2 652 468 B1, the device body of which rests on vibration-insulated adjustment feet. Each adjusting foot comprises an elastic body, the lower region of which is surrounded in two sections by a rigid sheath. In the upper section, the rigid sheath and the elastomer are firmly connected to one another, while in the lower section a fluid-filled annular space is formed between the elastomer and the rigid sheath. The annular space is connected to the hollow space in the middle of the elastomer body. Owing to the flow resistance during the exchange of fluid between the central cavity and the annular space, vibrations of the base surface on which the beam splitter is mounted with ...
