Problems solved by technology

[0009] However, hundreds of tons of heavy-duty press machinery are used to form graphite electrodes. The formed graphite electrodes have very good mechanical strength and physical and chemical properties, which largely meet the needs of industrial production, but also hinder the recycling of waste graphite electrodes. The use of the
At present, the waste graphite electrodes recovered in the industry are usually smashed into blocks by manual hammers, and then crushed by mechanical hammers to form graphite fragments. The whole process is labor-intensive, high equipment cost, slow processing speed, large environmental impact, and low material utilization rate ( 60%), which seriously hinders the recycling of waste graphite electrodes

Embodiment Construction

[0023]The specific implementation of the waste graphite electrode crushing method using photothermal rapid temperature rise pretreatment according to the present invention will be described in detail below.

[0024]

[0025] In the present embodiment, the processing object is a graphite electrode rod with a diameter of 30 cm and a length of 100 cm; the solar trough concentrator of Saint-Principe is used as the photothermal heating device, and the opening width is 5770 mm (the reflectivity of the lens is ≥ 93.5%, and the converted light concentration ratio is about 78.6); and Shandong Yiqi mechanical hydraulic press is used as the crushing device.

[0026] The waste graphite electrode crushing method provided by this embodiment using photothermal rapid temperature rise pretreatment specifically includes the following steps:

[0027] Step 1. Fully immerse the graphite electrode rod in 15wt.% hydrogen peroxide solution;

[0028] Step 2. Set the graphite electrode rod soaked fo...

Abstract

The invention provides a waste graphite electrode crushing method through photothermal quick-heating pretreatment. The waste graphite electrode crushing method is characterized in by comprising the following steps that 1, a waste graphite electrode is completely immersed in a hydrogen peroxide solution to be soaked for a period of time; 2, the waste graphite electrode is subjected to photothermalquick-heating through a focused light beam; 3, water is sprayed to the waste graphite electrode subjected to photothermal heating for quick cooling; and 4, the cooled waste graphite electrode is overall placed on a crushing device to be overall crushed. According to the waste graphite electrode crushing method, by utilizing quick gasification expansion decomposition of water molecules and hydrogenperoxide molecules in the quick heating process and a small amount of reaction with graphite, the physical and chemical structure inside the waste graphite electrode is destroyed, then by utilizing amethod of water spraying for quick cooling, the destroy degree of the physical and chemical structure of the waste graphite electrode is further increased, more cracks are formed, and thus one-time overall crushing of the graphite electrode under the low pressure is achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of recovery of waste graphite electrodes, and in particular relates to a crushing method of waste graphite electrodes for rapid temperature rise pretreatment by light and heat. [0002] technical background [0003] Beginning in the fourth quarter of 2016, with the advancement of supply-side reform policies in the steel industry, cracking down on strip steel has become the top priority for eliminating backward production capacity. On January 10, 2017, the deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission stated at the 2017 board meeting of the China Iron and Steel Association that all steel strips should be removed before June 30, 2017. As of March 16, 2017, according to statistics from Zhuo Chuang Information, 39% of intermediate frequency furnaces in my country have been dismantled. [0004] Similar to electric arc furnace smelting, the intermediate frequency furnace smelting process corresponding to...
