Abstract
The invention discloses a goat HIAT1 gene insertion / deletion polymorphism detection method and application thereof. A whole genome DNA of a to-be-detected goat serves as a template, and a goat HIAT1 gene part fragment is amplified through a PCR; agarose gel electrophoresis is carried out, and the genotypes of 15-bp insertion / deletion polymorphism loci at goat HIAT1 gene NC_030810.1:g.7695-7696 bits are identified through electrophoresis results. Related analysis results show that different genotypes of goat HIAT1 gene 15-bp insertion / deletion polymorphism have a remarkable correlation with growth characters of Shannxi white cashmere goats and can serve as DNA markers for improving the growth characters of the goats. The goat HIAT1 gene insertion / deletion polymorphism detection method can be applied to goat molecular marker assisted selective breeding so as to accelerate the establishment of a goat genetic resource group with excellent growth characters.
