The preparation method comprises the following steps that firstly the hydroxymethyl cellulose and the sodium chloride are added into the water, the mixture is heated, stirred and dissolved, and then naturally cooled, then the sodium benzoate and the laurate alcohol ester phenylacetate are added, the mixture is uniformly stirred, then the sodium hydroxide is added, the mixture is uniformly stirred and left to stand, then the anti-rust agent is added, and the mixture is uniformly stirred to obtain a quenching agent finished product.
