The invention discloses a state feedback based fault diagnosis method for a hydraulic valve of a steam turbine. The state feedback based fault diagnosis method comprises the following steps: 1) testing a relationship curve which is named as a datum curve between hydraulic servo-motor force and valve rod stroke when the hydraulic valve is free of faults; 2) performing a valve opening and closing stroke test after a unit stops, accessing a hydraulic servo-motor force and valve rod stroke signal into an external diagnosis system, and testing the relationship curve which is named as a fault curvebetween hydraulic servo-motor force and valve rod stroke of a to-be-detected valve; and 3) comparing and analyzing the fault curve with the datum curve, detecting anomaly in an operation state of a valve rod, a valve rod lining sleeve and a spring, determining the valve state through the anomaly, predicting valve faults, and making a valve maintenance schedule according to a valve state condition.The state feedback based fault diagnosis method detects the anomaly in the operation state of the valve rod, the valve rod lining sleeve and the spring through feedback of the hydraulic servo-motor force and valve rod stroke curve, so that the valve state is determined through the anomaly to predict the valve faults.
