Abstract

The invention discloses an SAA gene related to tridacna immunity and an application of the gene in preparing a tridacna pathological detection reagent. In the invention, the SAA gene is cloned from tridacna crocea for the first time, and a universal primer TcSAA-F / TcSAA-R is designed for the gene in several common tridacna. Quantitative PCR experiments show that the SAA gene of the tridacna croceais significantly up-regulated after vibrio infection and very similar to that of mammals, and in other pathological conditions, the expression of the gene is also significantly up-regulated. Therefore, the SAA gene can also be used as a gold standard for detecting tridacna health conditions. The SAA gene and the primer TcSAA-F / TcSAA-R provided by the invention can be used to monitor the health conditions of the tridacna, provide a positive and accurate warning signal for the prevention of tridacna diseases, and can effectively prevent the expansion of disasters; and the application of the technology further improves the ability of tridacna breeding germplasm innovation and supports the efficient and sustainable development of industry.
