Abstract

The invention discloses a lightning arrester used for a power transmission line, and belongs to the power transmission line lightning protection technology field. The lightning arrester comprises a lightning leading electrode used for electrically connecting a power transmission line, a grounding electrode used for electrically connecting a grounding wire, a supporting insulator used for keepinga distance between the lightning leading electrode and the grounding electrode, and the lightning arrester arranged between the grounding electrode and the lightning leading electrode. The lightning arrester comprises a plurality of conductors which are arranged in an insulating support body at intervals, an arc extinguishing chamber with an arc blowing hole is arranged at a position, corresponding to a gap between the two adjacent conductors, of the insulating support body, and the arc blowing hole faces a back direction of the power transmission line and a line insulator is connected with the power transmission line. A voltage dividing capacitor and an arc extinguishing gate which are connected in series are formed through a pure air gap structure, repeated use can be achieved, rapid arcextinguishing can be realized, and a condition that high-temperature electric arcs blown from the arc blowing hole burn out the power transmission line can be avoided.
