Abstract

A 7-hydroxymitragynine extraction method and a traditional Chinese medicine composition containing 7-hydroxymitragynine are disclosed. The method includes the following steps: (1) crushing dried kratom leaves, adding an extractant into the crushed leaves, performing ultrasonic extraction at normal temperature, and performing centrifugation and vacuum concentration to obtain a first concentrate; (2) adding an extractant into the first concentrate for extraction and performing vacuum concentration to obtain a second concentrate; (3) subjecting the second concentrate to separation by silica gel column chromatography, and performing gradient elution with an eluent to obtain the 7-hydroxymitragynine.
