The switchable load information updating method realizes collection and maintenance of switchable load information in an edge side power system in an area to which the edge Internet of Things agent belongs by the edge Internet of Things agent, can further support and perfect the function of the edge Internet of Things agent, and gives full play to the advantages brought by deployment of the edge Internet of Things agent to a power system. According to the fault alarm load control response method, a decision of removing part of loads is made on the edge Internet of Things agent side. Compared with a traditional method, the implementation method has the advantages that a decision can be made without fault information reaching a cooperative control center station; quick response partial load removal can be achieved on the edge side of the power system; the time delay of accurate load control service is reduced; and stable operation of the power system can be guaranteed more effectively.
