Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing pentosan from wheat bran. The method comprises the following steps: pulverizing the wheat bran, carrying out heating reflux with an ethanol solution, carrying out suction filtration and drying, carrying out extracting with boiling water, and carrying out centrifuging so as to obtain a supernatant S1 and a precipitate C1; adjusting the pH value of the supernatant S1, adding alpha-amylase, carrying out stirring at a constant temperature, carrying out detecting with iodine water until no color is developed, carrying out cooling, continuing adjusting the pH value of the solution, adding alkaline protease, carrying out stirring and centrifuging so as to obtain a supernatant, adding an ethanol solution into the supernatant, repeatedly carrying out extracting, carrying out centrifuging so as to obtain a precipitate, and carrying out freeze drying treatment so as to obtain water-soluble pentosan; and with NAOH as an extracting agent, performing same steps so as to prepare alkali-soluble pentosan.
