Abstract

The invention discloses a low-temperature steel forging produced by using a continuous casting billet. The low-temperature steel forging comprises the following chemical components: 0.16-0.20% of C, 1.40-1.60% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.012% of P, less than or equal to 0.005% of S, 0.20-0.60% of Si, less than or equal to 0.15% of Cu, 0.30-0.40% of Ni and the balance of iron. The invention further discloses a manufacturing method of the low-temperature steel forging produced by using the continuous casting billet. The method comprises the following steps: preparing the continuous casting billet, wherein raw materials are continuously cast into the continuous casting billet containing the above components; performing forging, wherein the obtained continuous casting billet is converted into the low-temperature steel forging by repeated upsetting and drawing forging; carrying out heat treatment, wherein the resulted forging is sequentially quenched and tempered, insulated, and cooled in a liquid medium after insulation; and obtaining the finished product. By this way, the chemical components are precisely controlled, so that the content of the chemical components powerfully guarantees the performance required. The repeated upsetting and drawing forging process is adopted, so that the looseness and dendritic crystal gaps of the forging are effectively eliminated, the forging structure is compact, and small flaws can be avoided by forging.
