Abstract

The invention provides a panchromatic and multispectral remote sensing image fusion method based on regional fitting. The panchromatic and multispectral remote sensing image fusion method comprises the following steps of: carrying out up-sampling on a multispectral image to the size of a panchromatic image, and carrying out the classification on the up-sampled multispectral image through employinga k-means method according to a spectral angular distance; using a least square method to solve a multispectral image weighting coefficient of each category region; and performing texture compensation on each category region of the up-sampled multispectral image by using multiplication to generate fused images of the category regions, and combining the fused images of the category region to obtain a final fused image. The multispectral band weighting coefficient fitting result of the panchromatic and multispectral remote sensing image fusion method is closer to an original panchromatic image,color distortion in the fusion process is reduced, texture detail compensation is carried out by using multiplication operation instead of addition operation in a mainstream fusion algorithm, a better texture compensation effect is achieved for a high-brightness region, and detail distortion in the fusion process is reduced.
