Abstract

The invention discloses a reversible type volute pump. The reversible type volute pump comprises a motor, a bracket, an impeller, a guide vane, a volute, a reversing valve and a support. The volute isprovided with an upper-layer cavity, a lower-layer cavity and external connectors which communicate with one another. The volute is in positioning connection with the bracket, and the impeller arranged in the upper-layer cavity and a motor output shaft are in positioning connection. The impeller with a downward suction opening is located in a guide vane inner cavity formed in the upper-layer cavity of the volute, and the lower-layer cavity located below the upper-layer cavity is in a straight pipe shape. Pipe openings in the two ends are formed in an inner cavity of the volute, and a middle section of the lower-layer cavity communicates with the suction opening of the impeller. The external connectors communicating with the lower-layer cavity and the upper-layer cavity are formed in the outer walls of the two sides of the volute. The reversing valve is arranged at the intersection of the upper-layer cavity, the lower-layer cavity and the external connectors. The reversing valve can becontrolled to control the external connectors in the two sides of the volute to be alternately opened and closed, and according to the function, the fluid output direction of the external connectorsin the two sides can be changed without downtime.
