Abstract

The invention discloses an antibacterial and antiviral polypropylene material for an automobile air conditioner shell. The material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 90-95 parts of polypropylene, 5-10 parts of filler, 0.3-1.0 part of an antibacterial and antiviral agent, 0.1-0.6 part of a nucleating agent, 0.2-0.5 part of a lubricant and 0.2-0.7 part of an antioxidant. The antibacterial and antiviral agent is at least one of a silver ion antibacterial agent, a zinc ion antibacterial agent and nano zinc oxide, and the polypropylene is homopolymerized high-crystalline polypropylene. According to the invention, the homopolymerized high-crystalline polypropylene and the filler are used for replacing traditional talcum powder-filled polypropylene, so that the weight can bereduced by 15.0% to the maximum extent on the premise of meeting the requirements of parts of a main engine plant; and an inorganic antibacterial agent is used for antiviral research and development for the first time, has an antiviral effect of 90% or above, and can be widely applied to the modified polypropylene material for the automobile air conditioner shell.
