The invention discloses an electromagnet magnetizing and demagnetizing control device and method. The device comprises a single-chip microcomputer, a power supply circuit, a controller, n electromagnets, n H-bridge integrated chips, n starting channels and n demagnetizing channels, and the power supply circuit is electrically connected with the single-chip microcomputer; the controller is electrically connected with the single chip microcomputer through the ith starting channel so as to send a magnetizing signal used for indicating to magnetize the ith electromagnet to the single chip microcomputer; and the single-chip microcomputer is connected with the ith H-bridge integrated chip through the ith demagnetization channel, the ith H-bridge integrated chip is electrically connected with the ith electromagnet, and the single-chip microcomputer demagnetizes the ith electromagnet connected with the ith H-bridge integrated chip through the ith H-bridge integrated chip when determining that a magnetizing signal used for indicating magnetizing of the ith electromagnet is stopped. The electromagnet is demagnetized through the demagnetization program, the problem that the electromagnet and the workpiece cannot be timely separated at the power-off moment due to magnetic force residues is solved, and stable and accurate placement of the workpiece is improved.
