Abstract

The invention provides a novel composite shrinkage reducer for oil well cement and a preparation method and application thereof. The novel composite shrinkage reducer is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 1.0 part of hexadecyl polyoxyethylene (10) ether and 1.5 parts of water-saturated water-absorbent resin (SAP). The composite shrinkage reducer is suitable for sealing condition plugging, especially for waste well plugging. According to the invention, the hexadecyl polyoxyethylene ether is used for reducing the surface tension of a solution in capillary pores of set cement and reducing the capillary force, so that the shrinkage stress is reduced; the water-absorbent resin is mainly used for fully absorbing water in advance, releasing internal moisture when the internal humidity of the cement is reduced, and supplementing lost free water, so that the shrinkage of the cement is reduced.
