Abstract

The invention discloses a composite lightweight landing gear wheel structure and a forming method thereof. A carbon fiber woven cloth-resin composite material is adopted to wrap a net-shaped PMI foam sandwich of a steering wheel and a copper pipe to form a hub; a foam tire is used, and a carbon fiber composite material is laid at the inner side of the tire to serve as a support ring; and the composite material on the periphery of the hub extends outwards and is cured with the tire. The hub is subjected to mold pressing curing by using double female molds, and the hub and the tire are subjected to mold pressing curing by using a single female mold. The foam sandwich in the hub plays a role in supporting and shape maintaining, so that the instability coefficient of the thin-wall carbon fiber hub can be greatly increased. The tire is made of solid lightweight elastic foam and plays a role in buffering and damping. On the premise of ensuring that the airplane wheel meets the use requirement of a photovoltaic airplane, the structural mass is greatly reduced, and the performance of the airplane is improved.
