[0038] The embodiment of the present application discloses a total station with a rain shielding function. refer to figure 1 A total station with a rain shielding function includes an instrument body 1, a base 11 arranged at the lower end of the instrument body 1, and a bracket 12 arranged on the lower surface of the base 11. The base 11 is located on both sides of the instrument body 1. The straight side plate 13 is welded with a horizontal mounting plate 14 on the upper end of the side plate 13 , and the mounting plate 14 is located above the instrument body 1 . Two ends of the mounting plate 14 are respectively provided with rain shields 15 for shielding the instrument body 1 from rainwater. The rain shields 15 are disposed toward the lens of the instrument body 1 , and the rain shields 15 are provided with windows 16 for the lens of the instrument body 1 to measure.
