Embodiment

[0010] A commercial isotropic fine-grained graphite IG-430U from Japan Toyo Carbon Co., Ltd. was ultrasonically cleaned with different solvents for 30 minutes, dried in an oven at 150°C for 24 hours, and then heated in a vacuum graphite furnace at 1000°C. Left and right high temperature outgassing for more than one hour, after cooling, on the standardized outgassing rate instrument TDS (thermal desorption spectrometer), the temperature is raised to 1400 ℃ at a rate of 10 ℃ per minute, and after holding for 30 minutes, the outgassing rate measured after many experiments As shown in Table 1, it can be seen from Table 1 that the outgassing rate of the same samples after washing with deionized water or distilled water is the lowest.

Abstract

The present invention discloses the treating process of carbon graphite material under superhigh vacuum environment, and aims at solving the problem of treating carbon graphite material after being machined under superhigh vacuum environment. The present invention features that carbon graphite material machined into carbon shoe is first ultrasonic cleaned fully in deionized water or stilled water, then dried, stoved to eliminate air at high temperature and cooled, and finally vacuum packed. During the machining process, the carbon shoe is ensured to avoid oil contamination. The carbon shoe thus processed may be applied in magnetically constrained experimental nuclear fusion installation as well as similar superhigh vacuum apparatus.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a carbon and graphite material treatment process that can be used in an ultra-high vacuum environment, in particular to a treatment process for carbon tiles after carbon graphite materials are processed into carbon tiles. Background technique [0002] In order to obtain high-temperature, high-purity, and high-density plasma so that the nuclear fusion reaction can proceed smoothly, the nuclear fusion physics experimental device must operate in an ultra-high vacuum environment. Carbon graphite materials are now widely used in ultra-high vacuum devices such as nuclear fusion physics experiments, as the first wall material facing plasma components. For example, the HT-7U fully superconducting large-scale tokamak device that is being designed and constructed in my country will use more than one ton of carbon graphite materials. These carbon graphite materials must be machined into a certain shape before being installed in an ultra-h...
