Abstract

The invention discloses process for preparation of Chinese medicine essential oil from common origanum and capsule out of it, said essential oil from common origanum is prepared by steam distillation and supercritical C02 extraction, after adding proper amount of excipient to essential oil from common origanum extracted, adopting pressing means to prepare thereof into capsule; among which technical conditions for extracting essential oil from common origanum by steam distillation, cutting common origanum materials into pieces of 2-3cm, putting into distiller and adding water of 6-8 times amount thereof, heating and steaming 5-8 h., collecting essential oil; technical conditions for supercritical C02 extraction of essential oil from common origanum is , grinding common origanum materials into coarse powder, putting into supercritical C02 extractant, extracting pressure and temperature for C02 is 15-25MPa and 35-45deg.C respectively, separation pressure and temperature is 5.2-7.2MPa and 30-35deg.C respectively, under said conditions extracting for 4-6 h., collecting extracts and prepare said extracts carefully by alcohol, collecting essential oil.
