Smart streetlight system for electric vehicle charging and fire response

PCT designated stageWO2026151021A1Charging stationFire detection
The present invention relates to a smart streetlight system for electric vehicle charging and fire response, and provides a system which comprises a lighting unit, a fire detection sensor unit, and an electric vehicle charging unit in a streetlight main body, and is integrally controlled by being connected through a wired / wireless network via an MCU device. The smart streetlight collects data from the fire detection sensor unit to determine whether a fire has occurred, generates fire occurrence information, and operates a fire suppression device on the basis of the fire occurrence information. The fire suppression device comprises a smothering fire extinguishing cover, which covers a parked electric vehicle to form a sealed space, thereby suppressing the fire or preventing the spread thereof. In addition, the smothering fire extinguishing cover comprises at least one openable emergency exit therein, and comprises a light-emitting body for indicating the position of the emergency exit to support safe escape of a user in an emergency situation. This design increases space utilization in urban environments through multifunctional roles of electric vehicle charging and fire response, and contributes to solving the problem of insufficient charging stations and the limitations of initial fire response. The present invention proposes a smart streetlight system that improves safety and efficiency in public places by simultaneously providing convenience in the use of electric vehicles and quickness of fire response.
