Home appliances including reflective doors
Home appliances may include partially reflective (e.g., one-way mirror) glass as part of an oven door. The partially reflective glass allows light from inside the appliance to pass through while reflecting light from outside. Therefore, the illuminated interior is visible, but a camera inside cannot see outside through the door. In some examples, the appliance includes a light and a camera housed within its cavity. The light and camera are interlocked to protect user privacy by activating the one-way feature of the door glass as needed.
