Abstract

Based on measured congestion state, different adaptive parameters are assigned to sites with different priority respectively. That is to say different parameters possess adjustment ranges with different initial competition window. Based on collision situation, in allowed adjustment range, site own can adjust size of initial competition window, i.e. self-adaptive control of access probability and transmission of each site. Thus, under heavy load, bandwidth of user with high priority is ensured; whole utilization rate of system is guaranteed or total throughput of system is raised. The invention solves disadvantages of lowering bandwidth of user with low priority and low performances of system when there are lots of sites in wireless local network (IEEE802.11) and under heavy load.
