The invention relates to an unpowered biological filter chamber water purification system having both the oxygen increasing function and the back flushing function, which belongs to the water treatment technique field. The system is composed of an unpowered biological filter chamber and two sedimentation tanks, can implement biochemical reactions such as anaerobic reaction, facultative reaction and aerobic reaction without power, and has obvious effects of denitrogenation and phosphorus fixing to sewage, and the system can be used for the unpowered back flushing and oxygen increasing and keeping the biological filter chamber from being blocked after long-term running. Compared with the prior art, the system has the following effects of: (1) stable water purification effect and good effluent water quality; (2) energy saving and realizable unpowered oxygen increasing and back flushing; (3) low project investment and running costs; and (4) simple structure and convenient operation management. The system can be used for purifying landscape water, tail water of sewage plants, domestic and agricultural wastewater with medium and low pollution, and can also be used as an independent water purification unit, and a plurality of units can be used in series, thereby realizing the purification treatment to sewage with rather high concentration.
