Embodiment 1

[0006] Embodiment 1, a kind of preparation method of refractory polyester, on fiber surface grafting the compound containing carboxyl group and phosphorus-containing monomer, react with irradiation grafting method, with acrylic acid and phosphorus-containing monomer, high-energy electron beam, Or gamma rays or ultraviolet radiation, and then soaking treatment with magnesium hydroxide or aluminum hydroxide solution. After irradiation grafting acrylic acid, on the one hand, it can cross-link the fiber and change the surface structure of the fiber. Phosphorus-containing monomers can be purchased externally.

Embodiment 2

[0007] Embodiment 2, the preparation method of fire-resistant polyester, on the basis of embodiment 1, the acrylic acid solution that concentration is 10-80% is dipped on the polyester fabric surface, is irradiated under the electron beam of energy 0.35-5Mev, and radiation dose 1-30Mrad , cleaning and finishing to obtain anti-dripping fibers.

Embodiment 3

[0008] Example 3, the preparation method of fire-resistant polyester, on the basis of Example 1, carboxyl group compounds: include some carboxyl compounds containing unsaturated bonds such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and vinyl acetate.

Abstract

The invention discloses a fire-resisting polyester fiber and a method for preparing fire-resisting fibers by using the polyester fiber as a substrate and grafting compounds containing carboxy groups. The method comprises the following steps: grafting compounds containing carboxy groups and phosphorous monomers on the fiber surface of the fire-resisting polyester fiber, carrying out reaction by an irradiation grafting method, carrying out high energy electron beam or gamma ray or ultraviolet irradiation by using acrylic acid as a monomer, and then carrying out soaking treatment by using magnesium hydroxide or aluminium hydroxide solution. The invention has the advantages that the method has durable performance of molten drop resistance, non-toxicity and no pollution; the molten drop resisting fiber prepared from polyester fiber and polypropylene fiber having the function of molten drop resistance by the irradiation grafting technique can not generate molten drops during combustion, thus a second fire caused by molten drops during combustion is avoided; and the harm to the skin from the molten drops is avoided when the molten drop resisting fiber is used as clothing fabric.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for preparing fire-resistant polyester fibers by grafting carboxyl group-containing compounds and phosphorus-containing monomers with polyester as a base material. Background technique [0002] Polyester fiber is currently the most produced synthetic fiber in the world and has excellent comprehensive properties. However, due to heat shrinkage and molten droplets after burning, its application in some aspects is limited. Finding an efficient and non-polluting method to improve fiber flame retardancy and anti-dripping is an urgent concern for people. The fiber can better solve the flame retardant problem after adding appropriate flame retardants. But the dripping problem does not have a good solution. People graft acrylic acid to polyester to improve its hydrophilicity. Generally, the grafting rate is relatively low. Only when the grafting rate reaches a certain height, can the problem of dripping be solved. Contents...
